It's common knowledge that Females look beautiful and Males as Handsome.
That is why the female is classifed as "Fair sex".
This is not so in the case of Peacocks. Male bird has a beautiful, longer, shining and colorful plumage. The female "Peahen" has shorter and not so attractive feathers.
That too when the Peacock unfolds its plumag e and dances to attract the female, you need to admire and enjoy the splendour and creativity in nature.
